  • Graduated as a Charter Builder and Quantity Surveyor from Bolton College, Dublin, Ireland.
  • Employed by Sisk Contractors as a site engineer/contracts manager for 2 years in Ireland.  Then transferred to their subsidiary company in Zimbabwe as general manager of their Precast/Prestressed Concrete Division.
  • Immigrated to Calgary in 1982 and appointed sales/marketing manager for Westcon Construction Products, Calgary.
  • Formed Almac Landscapes Ltd. in 1985.
  • A continued Education instructor of landscape design and construction for the Calgary Board of Education, University of Calgary, and Calgary Horticulture Society.
